Provide supervision, training, and coaching for personnel. This includes:
Holding 1:1 with direct reports (RAP meetings)
Developing SMART cards
Upholding all BEA policies (including Safety) with appropriate disciplinary action as needed
Managing team time off
Safe, accurate and timely management and execution of:
Kitting and completion of orders
Packaging to support customer orders and finished good stock
Provide input for manufacturability for product developments
Manage production schedule for packaging and manufacturing including, but not limited to:
Prioritize product and quantity to meet customer demand (working with other operations managers)
Assign work to the team for efficient production
Analyze capacity to define needs for staffing
Establish rates to measure, track, and improve labor efficiency
Schedule, hire and allocate resources based on capacity analysis
Define, measure, analyze, improve and control impactful KPIs for the production department (i.e. safety, quality, productivity measures), using action plans to manage any gap of actual to goal.
Perform Root Cause analysis and implement corrective actions as necessary for:
Inventory/material adjustments (working with Operations and Finance)
Material failures (working with Quality Team and Purchasing)
Process failures, measured by First Pass Yield (working with Quality Team)
Manage labeling process and data to ensure products meet internal and external quality requirements
Support BEA Sustainability initiatives
All other duties as assigned by Manager
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Expert level proficiency in the use of an ERP system and Microsoft Office Suite
Expert level communicator and ability to work in a self-directed manner
Experience in production management (more than 3 years)
